  • ❌ We ask questions like if we built this feature, would you be interested in paying for it
• ✅ LISTEN! DON'T TALK

Qualities of a Pseudo Builder

• ❌ Thinks of an great idea
• ❌ Focuses on hypotheticals
• ❌ Starts building without even talking to a single user
• ❌ Keeps building until the product is perfect
• ❌ Is always scared of talking to users, so keeps adding features, to escape the reality
• ❌ Thinks of scaling
• ❌ Keeps building for months and sometimes years
• ❌ Never sells. Product dies.

Qualities of a Real Builder

• ✅ Builds an mvp after talking to the user refer seller
• ✅ Never thinks of scaling at the first place
• ✅ Not afraid to ship imperfect or "ugly" MVP to get things moving. This works as long as the product is useful enough that customers don’t mind its flaws
• ✅ Now a days with ai, we can build less imperfect and less ugly looking MVP
• ✅ Keeps talking to user, keeps iterating until 100 users love the product
